When it comes to optimal food preservation, one temperature does not fit all. Variable Temperature Zones give you full control over the way you care for food. At the touch of a button, easily convert the lower right compartment to Freezer, Soft Freeze, Chill or Fridge mode, to best suit different types of food. Adjust zones for maximum every day convenience, or change modes to provide additional chilling capacity for special occasions.

Chill Mode
Keep ready-to-eat food fresher for longer with Chill Mode (-1.5 to 0°C). Chill Mode is a perfect solution for everyday life. It keeps meats, poultry and fish as cool as possible, retaining vital freshness and helps food retain its condition for around three times longer than Fridge Mode. It’s also great for entertaining. Set a zone to Chill Mode to quickly bring beverages down to serving temperature.

Water from the dispenser is barely cold - not good
Just bought this as recommended by Winnings Appliances and in general we are happy with it. My only issue is with the water dispenser. Sure, you have to learn how to use the dispenser to avoid water dripping, but its pretty easy to work that out. The problem is the water just isn't that cold and you can't adjust the temperature - it is barely colder than from the tap - quite a disappointment.

Form and Function
We purchased this fridge in the 2024 Boxing Day sales. As soon as it was installed we noted how quiet it is. It looks great and is very, very functional. The only problem we found out, is large trays of meat don't fit flat in the freezer so in the future these will have to be put into smaller lots to freeze. No biggie. The ice maker is also very quiet, and though it might not be cold enough for everyone, the cold filtered water is the perfect temp for me.

Looks great But lacks the design n function
This fridge looks great n has several good points, how-ever there are several things you should know before buying…
The glass doors are not glass there a type of fiberglass/resin n hate hands n fingers on them, anything that touches or marks stays it’s frustrating n not easy to clean. The top left side door never closes it falls in to place but will not close on its own as designed to. It looks large but its narrow spaces are only good for narrow items Not a good fridge for large bowls or platters or a family of 5

Finger prints, no cold water
This fridge appealed to us to match in with our new kitchen, which it does. Unfortunately the black glass in like no other glass and almost impossible to clean the finger prints and other marks of it making it permanently dirty looking.
This was also our first fridge with a water dispenser, great but water is not cold at all so the ice dispenser gets depleted almost daily.
Fridge design it self is fine, just a real shame about these 2 factors.

New fridge just what we wanted
We replaced a faulty westinghouse fridge with this f&p unit, lots more room in the fridge compartment and freezers compartment. In the kitchen is much quieter with the fridge running compared to the old, very happy with our purchase.

Highly recommend this fridge
Nice big space to keep all my food fresh and cold. No need to buy bottled water so a huge saving there and if I want my water colder I can add the ice that it produces. Only problem is the tiny scoop that is provided it could be bigger as I’ve resorted to using my hands a lot easier

Good fridge but things to improve
The fridge is ok, but a few things can be improved. Firstly the Matt black color looks awesome but it leaves fingerprints on it every time you touch it and difficult to remove the print marks. Also there is no egg holders inside the fridge which was a little bit odd and there is no fresh fruit and vege compartment.

So happy with our purchase
We purchased our refrigerator after much deliberation as to what we needed, our kitchen isn’t big but this fit perfectly. I’m loving the easy access to the fridge party with its two doors up top and the freezer drawers slide so easily and now I know where everything is.One freezer compartment can be turned into a fridge but we haven’t needed to do that yet. We also didn’t need the water part so didn’t get it, but the large ice tray holds close to a bag of ice, with a scoop. That’s really convenient to me. It also runs so quietly it’s a joy 😊

Great fridge freezer
We have just purchased the Fisher and Paykel 538L Series 7 Quad Door Refrigerator Freezer, Ice & Water and we are very happy with it the ice and water are a fantastic and useful addition I can be a bit biased as all of our white goods are F&P they are great products however I do have one gripe both doors need to be open to access the RH side crisper draw

Terrible after sales service on a faulty fridge
The new Haier fridge we purchased did not keen our food cold with items continually growing mould and going off as a result. A serviceman took one feel of the fridge items and confirmed it was not cold enough at 8-10 degrees. He replaced all the circuit boards but the temperature did not change. After some correspondence, a service representative agreed the fridge could be replaced. Given our issues, we asked if we could upgrade to the equivalent Fisher Paykel model. This took several months of unhelpful and confused responses from the Service rep. In the end, she agreed we could upgrade and pay for the upgrade. Another lengthy and unhelpful period of back and forth on price and installation replace the faulty Haier with the equivalent Fisher Paykel model but at a gap that was full, 100% retail markup of around $1600 when the place that sold us the fridge said the changeover would cost a max $800 before applying any discounts. Given we had now gone 6 months with th einconvenience of our food going off, plus managing the changeover, their was no empathy or movement on gouging us for the upgrade. Terribly handled and will make us think more than twice about EVER buying Fisher and Paykel again.

Happy but could use some design tweaks
We're happy with this fridge, we're off grid and efficiency is excellent, not as big internally as it appears outside. Top left hand door does not close easily and design requires opening both top doors to open right hand drawer.

Love my 4 door fridge. So tired of trying to find food on the shelves in the normal part of the fridge. We use 1 side of the bottom double door as a fridge 1 side and freezer the other. Separates my food better

Okay but there are better fridges.
Good but far from perfect, doors do not self close which is hard to get used to after a lifetime of fridges with self closing doors. Always wiping marks off the door. Ice maker is very slow.

A very happy customer
Really happy with our new fridge. Never run out of ice cubes even on a Scotch night. Ice water in door is very convenient and now rarely use the kitchen tap for drinking water.
The temperature zones are excellent and we notice food is fresher for longer compared to our previous fridge. The layout interior is great & to easily find contents and is well lit in both the fridge and freezer .
Appearance is smooth & sleek and looks fantastic in our kitchen.
The delivery & installation was excellent. Many thanks to E&S for good price and service.

Freestanding Quad Door Refrigerator Freezer
The refrigerator/ freezer is of excellent build quality but lacks a minor design element in that there is no cheese drawer. It is easy to clean. The internal ice maker is very good. The freezer compartments are well sized and easy to use. The lighting is excellent. Overall it has a sleek design with an elegant appearance.

Refrigerator,YES, Installation instructions NO!
The refrigerator arrived with no installation instructions, and no PLV. I installed it without a PLV. assuming there would be one inbuilt in such a modern appliance.It took days of phone calls to determine that a PLV should have been included and must be installed. One was posted to me, and a week after the initial installation, the refrigerator had to be emptied, pulled out and the plumbing reworked. This would have been totally unnecessary if the installation instructions and the PLV had been included with the refrigerator. I was not happy.

Lovely fridge
Lovely fridge , ice is great , water is great . The only cons are that the mirror look finish shows every finger print . The left hand door doesn’t close properly and often hear the beep of the door letting me know it’s been left open .

Improvements
I would prefer one vegetable container rather than the twosome as it holds less. But I realise you’d need to open both doors.
Also I find the noise of the LH door when it closes noisy and obtrusive .

We are very happy with this refrigerator. Keeps everything at the right temperature including the water. Freezer draws are easily accessed as are the shelves. Ample room. A classy Fridge. One disappointment was the customer service we received from Fisher & Paykel. I think they should take the service out of it as they are lacking in that area.
