Who can enter

This competition is only open to Australian residents 18 years of age and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Fisher & Paykel retailers, and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. One entry per email address.

Competition Period

The competition commences at and closes at ('Competition Period'). Entries received after this date will be ineligible. To be eligible for entry, you must remain signed up to Fisher & Paykel Appliances’ newsletter until at least the Selection Date.

The winner will be chosen on 12 March 2025 (‘Selection Date’). The winner will be notified by the Promoter contacting them through email within 48 hours of the Selection Date. The Promoter may also announce the winners on the Fisher & Paykel Appliances social media pages (including Facebook and/or Instagram).

If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of the Promoter’s attempt(s) to contact them, the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next best entry based on the Judging Criteria.

Prize

One winner will be selected for themselves and their plus-one (who must be over 18 years old) to indulge in a five-course meal, crafted by our in-house chef using quality ingredients. This unique culinary journey will take place in The Social Kitchen at the Sydney Experience Centre, a bespoke space that beautifully encapsulates Fisher & Paykel's ‘Designed in Aotearoa New Zealand’ philosophy.

If the winner and/or their plus-one do not ordinarily reside in Sydney, the prize also includes a return economy flight each to Sydney, transfers to and from Sydney Airport, and one night’s accommodation in Sydney at The Old Clare Hotel (one Mary O’ Suite room type (or nearest room type available)). The prize does not include travel insurance, food and drink (other than during the Mastery of Temperature dining experience), travelling to your nearest airport to board your flight, or other personal expenses. If the winner and/or their plus-one ordinarily reside in Sydney, the prize includes transfers to and from Fisher & Paykel’s Sydney Experience Centre and one night’s accommodation in Sydney at The Old Clare Hotel (one Mary O’ Suite room type (or nearest room type available)).

This prize is valued at over $3,000.

The culinary experience will be hosted one day (during the day) within three months of the Selection Date (exclusion periods apply, including Easter Weekend Public Holidays and ANZAC Day Public Holiday). The Promoter will contact the winner to advise the date of the culinary experience at least six weeks before the event date. The Promoter will use reasonable commercial endeavours to find a date that suits the Promoter and the winner.

If the winner is unable to attend the culinary experience on the confirmed date, they will forfeit the prize.

The prize is not transferrable, and the winner may not change their chosen plus-one once confirmed. The Promoter can request proof of identity, age, and ordinary residence of the winner and their plus-one at any time.

  • practicality – the idea could realistically be implemented; and
  • salience – the idea resonates with something topical that concerns consumers today (e.g. sustainability, lack of time, teaching children to cook).
