Why is this important?
Selecting right or left door hinges will determine which way your appliance opens. Please note that these directions are from your perspective when facing the fridge, i.e., when looking at your fridge, a left hinge product will open on your left.
What do I need to consider in the space?
- Current or future placement of cabinetry, walls or islands, and proximity to other appliances.
- When pairing multiple refrigerators, freezers or wine products, consider how these openings interact with each other.

Why do I need to choose a front panel?
All Fisher & Paykel integrated appliances require a front panel. You can choose to continue your existing custom cabinetry or purchase one of our stainless steel panels.
What do I need to consider?
- Please note that if you do not purchase an accessory panel, your fridge will come panel-ready for custom cabinetry.
- These accessory door panels come pre-drilled with holes for handles.
- If you are using custom cabinetry, please ensure that your cabinetmaker or kitchen designer is aware of the specifications required for Fisher & Paykel panels. Please consult the Planning Guide.

With custom cabinetry you have the freedom to use or recess your own handles or opt for one of our designs to match additional Fisher & Paykel appliances. If you have selected our stainless steel panel, you will also need to purchase handles.
What do I need to consider?
- If you are using custom cabinetry, you can integrate your handle design into the panel. This means you won’t need to purchase a handle.
- These handle designs match Fisher & Paykel ovens, dishwashers and other appliances.

Adding a Joiner Kit

Are you purchasing additional cooling appliances?
Our freezers and wine columns include a complimentary joiner kit, so refrigerator columns purchased alongside these items will not need this accessory.
Are you purchasing multiple fridges of the same height?
Joiner kits will be needed when placing multiple refrigerators or bottom mounts side by side.
What do I need to consider?
- Please note that our joiner kits are only designed to join with products of the same height.

What size toekick do I need?
Selecting the correct Toe kick
Why is this important?
Fisher & Paykel’s stainless steel toe kicks extend the finish of your appliance to the floor. These come in different sizes to fit any combination of paired appliances.
It is important that you understand the measurements of all adjoining appliances and purchase the correct sized toe kick.
Are you purchasing single or multiple products?
- Single products: Select the correct toe kick to correspond with your appliance’s width.
- Multiple products: Select the correct toe kick for the complete width of all appliances when placed side by side, i.e. if you are purchasing two 30 inch appliances, you will require a 60 inch toe kick.
What do I need to consider?
- You can use a custom toe kick or purchase a stainless-steel one.
