The black freestanding cooker and black French-door refrigerator were chosen to be showpieces that enhance the design of the kitchen. Meanwhile, the other appliances are integrated or located in the butler’s pantry, which contains an additional wall oven and a wine fridge. The beauty of choice provided by Fisher & Paykel provides kitchen designers with versatility to choose which appliances to showcase or integrate.
Beneath the rear of the kitchen, a large butler’s pantry provides a unique secondary area to prepare food and is ideal to keep the messier jobs out of sight. Almost like a secondary kitchen, the butler’s pantry hosts an additional wall-oven, wine fridge and sink. By distributing appliances throughout the kitchen – separating out cooking and refrigeration in different areas around the kitchen – the kitchen is made more flexible and accommodates different people cooking together.
